Hellroaring Creek

Hellroaring Creek was an amazing hike up in Yellowstone, just past Tower Roosevelt. From the trail head it is one mile to a steel suspension bridge, and then another mile to Hellroaring creek. The bridge itself  made it a worthy trek, but the river is as astounding as the bridge. It was swollen and had an eerie haze to the air around the river. Round trip 4 miles, the start of the trail is a steep downhill descent, so the trek back is a bit harder than the walk in. Amazing hike.

Bears! It was a sow and two cubs.

Why not climb a boulder in the middle of a meadow?
