This was a random adventure that we decided to do on the spur of the moment, after Kevin got off work we all loaded into the truck with bikes for the girls and a bike wagon for Jack a backpack full of snacks and water and headed up to the park. We left the truck at a parking area that was about a mile before the Taggart Lake trail head. The intention was to ride the bike to the trail head and then turn around but with the excitement of the ride the kids wanted to do a small hike as we have hiked to
Taggart Lake before we took the other side of the loop. This time we went on the left side of the loop and hiked to the Valley Trail fork. A quick 3 mile hike and 2 mile bike ride round trip. Definitely a repeatable adventure. I forgot my phone in my bike seat storage on our hike so no pictures from that sorry :(
