We hiked around the Fish Hatchery before, this time we took the left and drove until we found a hill that seemed appealing to Kevin, where he parked and told us time to hike. I have to say this year we had some amazing off trail hikes and this was just the beginning of our "Summer of Up" as I have come to begrudgingly refer to these experiences.
