Lulu's 6th Birthday -Yellowstone

This year Lulu chose to go camping in Yellowstone for her birthday. We camped at Slough Creek Campground site 13., it was right on the river, but the sites we a bit close together and there we not a huge amount of trees, but it was a wonderful site and we were hardly there at all. We ventured outside all of the gates, and fully explored the upper loop. We went to Cook City and Silver City where we enjoyed a funnel cake and some deep fried Snickers from a road side stand.  We went to the famous Roosevelt Arch, and even ventured over To Madison, and West Yellowstone. Unfortunately I forgot my phone charger and also had the mishap of falling into Slough creek with my phone in my pocket so there are a limited number of pictures of the week we spent there. This turned out to be major disappointment when we encountered our first Grizzly Bear while hiking Pebble Creek. It was quite an experience, we only saw it for a moment as we startled him and he went bounding off in the opposite direction. We took the bears expert advice and turned heel and headed back the way we had came
